Clean Credits and Dirty Credits info 8/19/2019:

Responses from Rona's email correspondence with below:

From Kiah Jones, Manager, Content Strategy – Disney Channel

For Disney Channel, the general rule of thumb is that Live Action shows have end credits over content (dirty) and Animation has full screen end credits (clean). There may be some exceptions to this, (particularly with library content like Phineas & Ferb), but not many.

We are in the middle of a long term project where we are creating both versions for every episode for both live action and animation... but that process is a bit clunky at the moment with a lot of caveats and only applies to certain series, seasons, etc,... so your best bet is to go with the rule above for now.

Once we have a Pure Version (clean end credits) for everything, the rule will be that the Pure Version is what will be scheduled on all digital platforms going forward, but it is a very slow rollout for that and won’t apply to any current library content.

The rules might be a little different for Disney Junior content.

From Trini Rosales, Manager, Programming - Disney Junior

As for Disney Junior series, the majority of our series have clean end credits.  We started the process of clean end credits with all Disney Junior series that were in production in and around 2013.  We have some library series (some mixed seasons that have “dirty’ end credits). Happy to work with you on Disney Junior series… feel free to reach out directly if you need any additional info on Disney Junior
