Intro

Below you'll find our working version of a documentation template based off of the JIRA Product Requirements Blueprint. (We would modify our blueprint.)

Adam and Angela are working together to document Hero Carousel (design complete, documentation test) and On Now Live Schedule (as a new feature).

How to Import Instant JIRA Stories

  1. When you create your new product requirements page, you create the "Epic" (like a folder for all the requirements to live in) for your new feature.
  2. When your feature is designed and documented in Confluence, Dev Ready, you import your table of user stories all at once... see video.
  3. All Confluence information is now linked as a single source of truth to the program level JIRA board (e.g. DCWW).
  4. The program design is then cloned to appropriate platforms who each have their own distinctions.

Comments:

Adam, Ardith explained much to me. Requirements can roll up from individual pages into the tab structure. So think along the lines of include files inside this high level structure template.

Is there a way to mark up @Jira links in @Confluence to be imported like user stories are from a requirements table? Thinking of @Invision and @Zeplin links
