Retrospective

What did we do well?

  • Able to complete a lot of work!
  • Timbits
  • Going home early today!
  • Idea to bring in a team gong for completed sprint commitments
    • ACTION: Someone find a gong
  • Sprint burn down actually now!
  • Team to include QA automation in MVP
  • GAE training

What should we have done better?

  • Some of the permissions stories were missing.
    • We need to understand requirements better and break down the tasks more fully
  • Reworking designs for permissions after designs were made and approved.
    • Missing a lot the details of the tasks that need to be completed
  • ACTION: As a team we need to review component designs before we start working on them. 
  • ACTION: As a team we need to update descriptions and requirements on stories as they change. 
  • Still a live blocker with the name import service. Still prod testing. 
  • Need to start pulling bugs into each sprint so we're polishing as we go. 
  • ACTION: Discuss incoming bugs during mid sprint check-in
  • Stories aren't as detailed as they should be
  • Estimates are off
  • ACTION: Add Darlesson to backlog review while Curtis is gone
  • ACTION: As a team we need to review hour estimates to make sure they're accurate
  • Not all work counts towards MVP Wing Goals.
